My view on being an art educator is to be effective in understanding the student's exceptionalities and use of a variety of culturally relevant pedagogy materials. The exceptionalities fall in six categories: intellectual, communicative, sensory, behavioral, physical and multiple. I have experienced having students that were intellectual, communicative, physical and behavioral. The subject that I instruct has been a communicator and creativity learning experience for the students with the exceptionalities. I have witnessed encouragement and motivation displayed in the interest, self-expression and crativity of the student's work. I have taught visual fine arts for six (6) years.
My passions are art exhibitions, teaching Art KG-12 and Adults, Interior Design, landscaping, traveling, gourmet cooking, science fiction and non-fiction, movies: comedy, horror, love stories, adventure, drama (plays), music and science. (I am a Star Trekie) I specialize in painting and drawing abstract art. Painting above called "Zebra Fever" by P. A. French, media: acrylics.
